Henry Street Settlement opens doors of opportunity for Lower East Side residents and other New Yorkers through social service, arts, and health care programs.
Henry Street offers a wide variety of programs designed to promote the independence and well-being among the growing population of culturally diverse older adults on the Lower East Side. All older adult services are free of charge and available in Spanish, Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin), and English.
Among the services offered for older adults at Henry Street are NORC/Vladeck Cares, Healthy Senior Select Meals on Wheels, the Henry Street Settlement Older Adult Center, and the Senior Companion Program.
