What to Do If ICE Shows Up

With the news this week that Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) attempted to gain entry to East New York WIN shelter, we wanted to share a set of resources from New York Lawyers for the Public Interest for nonprofits to ensure you are well equipped to handle interactions with ICE.
We want the Henry Street Settlement Community to feel prepared if ICE shows up so that any community member knows how to best handle the situation. We also hope that the many clients we serve know that the Henry Street organization is a safe space for them.
