Health Insurance Open Enrollment at Henry Street Program Sites Begins November 15

Choosing the best health insurance available from the NY State of Health, The Official Health Plan Marketplace, can be daunting, but Henry Street Settlement is making the process easier during the open enrollment period for Qualified Health Plans, November 15, 2014 to February 15, 2015.
Appointments or walk-in visits can be made with our Certified Health Care Navigator and Application Counselors at four of Henry Street Settlement’s sites in the Lower East Side. Services are available weekdays year-round, Saturday afternoons and Wednesday evenings from November 15 to February 15.
Henry Street’s Health Insurance Enrollment Program certified staff can explain the different types of coverage available from NY State of Health, The Official Health Plan Marketplace; answer questions about benefits, tax credits and cost-sharing reductions; help you enroll in public and private plans offered through the Marketplace; determine if you qualify for a financial subsidy for private insurance. We can also help you enroll year-round in Medicaid and Expanded Medicaid, as well as Child Health Plus.
