Henry Street Settlement seniors welcomed fall on the right foot with the annual health fair “Senior Services Health in Action: A Mind-Body Celebration.” Health providers lined the Vladeck Houses courtyard to provide free screenings, wellness information, and of course a cardio workout—after all, it wouldn’t be a Henry Street seniors party without dancing!
Community organizations tabling at the event included Betances Health Center, LiveOn New York, Elderplan HomeFirst, and the New York City Office of Emergency Management as well as local hospitals: NewYork-Presbyterian, Mount Sinai, and Gouverneur Medical Center. The event was sponsored by the Lighthouse Guild.
