Deloitte Fundraiser Benefits Henry Street

Nearly 100 consultants from Deloitte, a Henry Street Settlement corporate volunteer partner since 2007, gathered at Little Italy’s Gold Bar to raise money for Henry Street’s vital programs.
The event raised over $5,000, much of it from a silent auction featuring fabulous prizes. Attendees also had an opportunity to learn more about Settlement programs from Deputy Officer of Development & External Relations Jeremy Reiss and Volunteer Program Associate Allison Schrag.
The event featured a silent auction to help with the fundraising efforts. Sixteen items were up for bid, including a Vermont weekend rental, which was sold for over $1,000.
Volunteers are essential to assisting Henry Street serve more than 50,000 individuals each year. Volunteer opportunities range from serving meals to seniors to helping job seekers with their resumes and interviewing skills to enhancing the education of our youth with homework help.
