When you join the Lillian Wald Legacy Circle with an estate gift of any kind (and in any amount), you will receive a special “thank you” gift, invitations to connect with your fellow change-makers at exclusive Lillian Wald Legacy Circle events, and – if you choose – public recognition in communications such as our Annual Report. 

Ways to Give: 

A planned gift allows you to preserve your current financial resources, maintain flexibility, and make a profound impact on Henry Street Settlement and our ability to serve New Yorkers in need. Planned gifts can take many forms, including, but not limited to: 

• Bequest. Simply name Henry Street Settlement in your will or trust. Easy and flexible. 
• IRA Charitable Rollover. A tax-efficient way to meet your Required Minimum Distribution without increasing your income tax obligations. 
• Beneficiary Designation. Name Henry Street Settlement as a beneficiary in assets such as your retirement plan, life insurance policy, commercial annuity, or other financial accounts. 
• Life Income Gift. Support Henry Street Settlement while generating income for you and your family. 
• Charitable Lead Trust. Support Henry Street Settlement with fixed annual distributions that allow your family to inherit assets at a reduced tax rate.
