Education Services

Our Education Services provide safe, structured, and holistic environments to educate, empower and promote social and emotional development. Our goal is for young people and their families to become confident, compassionate, and progressive leaders within the global community.

  • Early Childhood Education

    Early Childhood Education offers small, stimulating preschool and UPK classes for ages two to four. Dual language programs; onsite gym and playground; nutritious meals.

  • Afterschool Services

    Free afterschool and holiday programming–including homework help, arts, recreation, & more–at four LES schools,  Jacob Riis Cornerstone, and Boys & Girls Republic.

  • Community Schools

    Henry Street partners with P.S./M.S. 188, Orchard Collegiate Academy, University Neighborhood Middle School, and P.S. 142 to provide mental health, enrichment, and other services to students, families, and the school community.

  • Expanded Horizons College Access & Success

    A comprehensive eight-year program to ensure that high school students are college-ready, are admitted, and succeed at a college that fits their interests and abilities.

  • Youth Opportunity Hub

    Engaging, youth-led educational, employment, recreational, and social services for young people ages 10 to 24.

  • Athletics & Community Enrichment Services

    We provide afterschool and summer sports activities including basketball, baseball, soccer, and football.

  • Middle School Success

    Henry Street helps middle schoolers navigate the complex high school application process via a peer-led and supported community centered approach.
