Dining Room Rental

The beautifully restored historic dining room in our c. 1832 settlement house is available for private parties, receptions and dinners. This unique space, which can hold 50 for a seated dinner, has a grand piano and an adjacent professionally equipped kitchen. (The dining room is unavailable from July 1 through August 30.)

Dining Room rental is $275 per hour with a six-hour minimum.

Theater Rental

Henry Street’s Abrons Arts Center has three theaters available for rentals, including the c. 1915 Playhouse Theater.

Playhouse Theater

  • Capacity: 300 (wheelchair accessible)
  • Stage area: 25’ wide proscenium, 28’ deep
  • Fly system: 22 linesets
  • Lighting system: ETC Ion Console and excellent lighting instrument package
  • Excellent sound system

Experimental Theater

  • Capacity: 110 standing, 60 seated
  • Stage area: 24’w x 30’d with seating, 50’d without
  • Black box
  • Lighting system: ETC Element Console and excellent lighting instrument package
  • Excellent sound system
  • Space for rehearsal only until further notice

Underground Theater

  • Capacity: 77 seated
  • Stage area: Trapezoid 21’d x 24’-39’w
  • Lighting system: ETC Element Console and excellent lighting instrument package
  • Excellent sound system

Studio Rental

Henry Street’s Abrons Arts Center is home to five studios available to artists for not-for-profit rentals at subsidized rates for rehearsals, meetings, and photo/video shoots.

Rentals available from 10 AM – 10 PM on the even hour, 7 days a week, subject to availability. 

Book in two hour increments on the even hour. (Minimum two hours). Studio Guidelines »

Studio 1: $10/hr, 10’ x 16’9”
Studio 2: $15/hour, 34’6” x 16’11”
Studios 3: $15/hour, 34’6” x 22’
Studio 302: $15/hour, 35’ x 20’
