Social Work Internships
Henry Street offers social work and mental health internship field placements in programs across the agency, including our Health & Wellness, Education & Employment, Transitional & Supportive Housing, and Older Adult Services divisions.
Requirements to apply:
– Currently enrolled in an MSW, BSW, or Mental Health Counseling program
– Ability to work onsite on the Lower East Side; some sites have remote options
– Background checks may be required for some site placements
Internship placements are made on a rolling basis. Please note, due to the large number of applicants, our agency is not able to place all students in an internship or provide placement within a particular site or population.
